Diary Reposts

So, my diary has been capturing some interesting stuff with cheerio and general site manipulation stuff. I find it pretty exciting. I also think it's pretty likely that I'll mine my diary from time-to-time for blog posts. I'm thinking I'll clean the posts up a bit, and merge various posts together, but once I accomplish something, it'll probably be good to actually blog about it.

I probably have a ways to go before my site iteration stuff is done. Especially since I'm beginning to feel that "done" is when the site is running on node, the posts are in a database, and the blog and diary home areas are constructed dynamically. Though, I'll probably switch tasks after my weekly review init'er is built and usable for my purposes. I have reviews to write, and just other stuff I want to invest some of my time into.

Maybe I should consider publish a proper blogpost of my progress at significant milestones. The next milestone being that weekly review init'er.

Still, really liking having a public area where I basically keep rough notes of what I'm trying to accomplish and why. I feel, if anything, stuff like that may be useful to people who, like me, want to build the capability to be self-motivated. I find that even with a short bus ride to work or the short bus ride home, I'm still able to make baby-steps towards my extra-curricular goals.
