Exercise PID Control
05/09/14
I have lost roughly 80 pounds over the last year and a half.
It has been a strange journey. Lots of starting and stopping of the same things.
I started running. I stopped running. I started running.
I went to the gym. I stopped going to the gym. I went to the gym once of week. I stopped going to the gym. I am going to the gym.
I ate a lot. I ate whatever I wanted. I quit soda. I started soda. I quit soda. I started soda. I quit soda. I started counting calories. I lost 50 pounds. I gained proper control over my intake of soda.
I started timing myself. I stopped timing myself. I time myself in a different way.
My habits seem to have undergone a sort of PID control. Slowly approximating to something that works better and better for me.
I'm trying to apply the methods stumbled upon here everywhere. I plan to try and formulize it soon, which is why I'm glad I'm recording my actions now.
More on that, eventually.
