Fevers Come Back?

So, I woke up this yesterday morning afternoon and felt a bit better. I took my temparature and it was normal.

Much later in the day, I noticed that I was still feeling pretty crappy, and took my temparature again.

It was back up to a 100 degrees.

I haven't paid attention to the nature of illnesses and fevers much my life, but I thought that once a fever went away, that part of the illness was ending.

It's just making me realize I really don't know much about the nature of being sick.
