Game: Makefile
08/24/14
I currently have a Makefile I use to compile my game. I don't like how it's setup anymore. You can see it's current state here. It's a hacked together file that is already becoming cumbersome to change. Pretty soon I think I'm going to want to split my files into multiple directories, and would like to hide the generated object (.o) files under a build directory.
Before I start working in a simple component system, I think cleaning up the Makefile makes sense. At the very least, less reused code and hiding all the object files under a build directory. Separating the code into multiple source directories might become necessary after developing the component system (who knows how many new C++ files might come of that).
Update 08/24/14
Makefile updated. C++ code is now hosted in a src directory and object files compiled into a build directory, as desired. Hopefully, I've updated the Makefile such that further granularity in the src file organization isn't too difficult to maintain.
