Japanese Study Plan
09/09/14
So, as I've stated previously I want to learn some languages:
- Spanish
-
UkrainianGerman - Japanese
It turns out that Ukrainian isn't available yet on Duolingo, but German is. My mother's parents were German, so there's still some heritage there. Unforntunately, it doesn't have the added benefit of something to give to my still-living grandparent, my babuska, who is Ukrainian.
I'll figure something out there, though, hopefully.
Anyways, I'm already really side-tracked from the title of this post. Japanese study plan. I already got some good textbooks on learning Japanese, and I've forgotten most of their content.
The plan with Japanese is to slowly build vocabulary, kanji, and useful sentences with the digital flashcard software, Mnemosyne. I'm currently using the Nakama I and II textbooks as my main resource.
So far, it's going pretty well. I'm regaining lost Japanese at a decent rate, and Mnemosyne is making sure I retain that regained ground.
