Resume Update

I have put off updating my resume for too long.

I have finally gotten around to writing a new one. In LaTeX.

Yay.

I ended up not blogging about it while doing it though....

Quick recap:

1. Found good LaTeX resume examples
2. Picked one I liked (PDF)
3. Made some edits for my purposes
4. Copied compiled PDF to main site area (PDF)

I put this off for a long while, and then finally made a deadline of today, and I did it! Well, originally I set a deadline of yesterday, but yesterday's blogpost changed it to today, so it's okay, Stephan.

Though, it does make me think about planning in general. Maybe the shorter term the plan the more it should be composed of actions. Whereas longer term plans should be composed of purpose or vision.

Hmmmm.... It makes sense considering the GTD hierarchy.

Something to ruminate on.

Also, though, it really is good to have parallel things to do, and to force myself to change to other things when something is taking me longer than I anticipated. Blog transition stuff is still something I will work on, but trying to focus on only that just wasn't a viable strategy.

I'd still like to finish the transition this weekend though.

We'll see.
