Site: Beginning Node Transitioning
03/03/15
So, I believe the time has finally come to transtion my site to running on node. And the first thing I have done to that end is... make all links on this site that are local links relative pathways instead of full url links.
Why? So I can have a copy of this site and make changes to it on my chromebook without it affecting my main site. I can then transition whenever a change is ready.
It was also decent node script practice, as I made the changes via implementing a javascript script and executing it with node.
I have a few more minor things to do to make it run locally more correctly, but having node serve the static files on my site might come pretty soon. Then, I have some ideas on how to save blog posts in a database, and I'll consider things from there.
