Building Plan

03/14/15

So, planning on the bus because I slept in a lot. Moving work to tomorrow so I can celebrate White Day with my girlfriend (White Day is Valentine's Day, but the girls are expected to give gifts to the boys, whereas Valentine's Day is when the boys give gifts to the girls, it's an East Asia thing).

Pomodoros today will probably be super limited. This plan, a blog post sessions, and an end-of-day review is all I'll probably get to. Though, I might make the blog post pomodoro more review writing. I have some extra blog posts waiting to be published. I just need to add some links to them and they should be publish ready.

Yeah, review pomodoro works better for today.

Monday, I'll need to do my weekly review proper at home. Tomorrow, hopefully, I can wake up early enough to do some pomodoros before work. I think it's going to happen eventually. And it'll happen more regularly eventually. I just need to keep going to sleep early until I wake up early. It's not something I can rush or willpower through. It's something that will have to emerge from improving my habits that affect me waking up early.

Productivity will really start exploding when that happens, so I get a little impatient, but I just need to remind myself, it's not something I can just do, it's something I need to work on, to develop a capability of by doing things that strengthen my ability to wake up early and be productive more often.

The same thing goes for pomodoro weekends. I woul love to have work-level productive days on the weekend, but again it's not something that I can just decide to do. It's a habit I have to build, and a thing I have to plan. And one day of the weekend will probably go to other things. That's just reality, I'll plan social events and I won't be able to do work-level pomodoros those days.

But, I am improving, I can see the improvement in my better work-ethic alone, but I can also see myself doing more pomodoros on average little-by-little, and the quality of the pomodoros are also increasing little-by-little.

I'm still excited about this system, and pretty soon I'll hit the 21-day milestone where I can safely say it's an embedded habit.
