Japanese Study Tool: Logging In

Okay, the long-term goal of this is to have an extension Japanese study tool. Right now, I have nothing, and I would like to start with a login capability.

I have access to a tutorial that goes over just that, so let's see if we can have something workable in one pomodoro.

I have the skeleton in place and will be able to actually configure login next time (aka I'm currently here in the tutorial).

I haven't really dug into the code to understand what's going on, but I feel confident I can understand it once it's in place and modify it for my purposes easily afterwards.
