Review
03/18/15
So, really, there's not much to say in this end-of-day reviews until I start actually waking up when I first wake up and start doing more per day. I'm writing blog posts everyday still, on the bus ride to work. These last two days I did my planning on the bus as well, because the plan is the same: morning routine, build plan, write blog post, write review.
This gives me a tiny bit less time to write blog posts, which actually may be a problem now that I'm scrapping the bottom of the barrel for short posts I find valuable. I'm going to need to do some serious work to fill my well of short-but-personally-valuable posts back up.
Really, it's just a matter of having Internet access for a few blog post pomodoros. Meaning the bus ride to work should be something else, probably node website building (though, I need to do some research there, too).
Though, I think I'll never quite run out of short posts. They're teasers for long-posts I want to do but probably won't.
- Frozen shouldn't have had a villain
- The Maze Runner would make a great game
- Death Note fan fiction idea
- Etc.
So, I'll be fine. Further, I am working on better, longer content everyday as well now, and will be as long as I'm writing reviews, which in all honesty is probably going to last past the end of this month, but I'm okay with that. I think I'll get a lot from these reviews, and that's what I get for reading such good books.
Looking over my deadlines, I should probably buy the chip to mod my Gamecube early April. I should also add buying tickets to visit cousin to my deadlined things, too. Actually, that should be defaulted into my todo today plan that's how soon it should be done.
Anyways, what today's review boils down to, I want to do more, that I'm making time for anything is pretty awesome, but I need to wake up earlier so I can work on more things (namely: stuff I can consider accomplishments that I would put on a resume and stuff).
Otherwise, I'm liking this system and I'm liking the constant reflection. It still allows me to do things, and also reflect on the things I'm doing. I just need to carve out some more time per day, and also carve out significantly more weekend time, to do these things.
I'll work with the time I give myself for as long as I need to, though, and if necessary I will prioritize other things other than reviews and reading and maybe even blog posts if it means working on accomplishments proper.
I will also focus on deadlines, making more of them, and trying to meet them or at least renegotiating them when neessary.
