Review

Today was pretty productive, but still unfocused. There's a significant lack of control I have outside of work. At work, I've gained a serious amount of control, but at home, it just isn't there. It may just be something I have to work at.

I did a good talk at Game Dev today. A huge part of that were the prep pomodoros I managed to do. It also makes me want to get more serious into presenting my ideas to an audience.

Presenting today showed me the power of getting good at starting from scratch again. Yeah, yeah, get good at finishing, but that's advice for people who keep starting but never finishing. It's not that I've only practice the beginning and never got good at ending, it's that I'm inexperienced overall.

It's like I'm trying to run a hundred miles and I don't realize I should probably stop when I'm sleeping on the pavement. It's probably why blogging is one of the few things that is getting consistent work from me, I start a new blog post almost everyday.

So, I'm going to rewrite node scripts regularly until I get really familiar with node and javascript stuff. I will attempt to do something similar with Crafty.

But first I need to catch up on review writing. Let's plan for tomorrow right now.

Let's do a basic plan with review development on the bus ride home and see how well I do.
