So, today I failed to follow the plan I made yesterday, but I still approximated it, and got my normal pomodoros in. Which, you know, is decent progress. Work was also a close approximation of what I planned, even with two hours less than I originally wanted.
Tomorrow and Friday will be busy days at work. Even if I could work ideally, it would probably be better to just get the extra hours in at work so I can more easily make the Game Jam on time. Tomorrow, however, I need to do a little bit of packing for Game Jam on Friday, as I will go from work to the U of A.
So, that means tomorrow needs a pomodoro towards that once I get home. Not too much work, just a few changes of clothes and maybe some snacks.
All done.
Let's do some thinking on my home system now. I like that I've moved a good chunk to the end of my day, makes it so I can have faster morning when I need to. And now that I'm moving more to the end of my day, it makes sense to have a larger amount of end-of-day routine tasks. Some of them should have been there anyways: tickler organization, empty my backpack. Improving my starting and ending routines are going to be very valuable to a fully productive day.
Ending a day right makes starting the next day right easier, and starting the day right helps me focus on what I find important.
All right, let's publish my items for today!
