External Distraction: Rosse wants me to give Daysha a treat
So, today was okay. I want to start quantifying types of pomodoros, and work towards better work, I think. At first, I thought I wasn't doing good growth stuff, but I think that, actually, I do plenty of growth stuff, but I don't use projects to solidify and internalize that growth.
One thing I need to do, to get feedback from others, is start contributing to open-source and/or some sort of voluntary team project. Work gives feedback, but I need that at home. Really help build my craft.
I've added to my inprogress blog area to help remind me to actually put links in. I seem to forget regularly and just publish posts without proper links. It's something I should probably fix when I properly transition my blog over to node and database stuff (adding to Activity Inventory).
At work, I've decided that improving on the Activity Inventory setup is something I should devote some weekly review time towards. I think the same is true for the home setup.
I think sleep schedule stuff will be coming under control soon, but I'll have to have some more days going to bed early to properly assess that belief.
Tomorrow, if I wake up with enough time, I want to spend work pomodoros on making my site a repository saved on my server. There's some minor problems to overcome, so I think it'll take a whole pomodoro. A git repo will make keeping my local area and the server area synced much easier, and will just be smart as I start making signficant changes to my site.
Other than that, tomorrow's a work day, so the regularly planned items would also be good (spaced repetition, blog post, etc.). Oh, yeah, almost done with Hire With Your Head, and after that reading pomodoros for the rest of the month will be devoted to writing good reviews for the books I've read so far this year. Which is almost one week per book for a review, so I'm hoping I'll make some quality reviews.
