Review

03/14/15

Today went really well. Except for, you know, almost deleting all of the progress I had made locally but hadn't pushed to my server. I lost the code I was making towards a web-app getting things done thing (it was just a todo list so far), and a kanji study-tool (again, nothing big). I lost all the scripts I had made to cleanup my site, but considering they're the ones that did this damage, good riddance.

I thought I had lost content I had written today for the diary, but luckily my local diary was still open and up-to-date containing all content that was deleted the day before. Hooray for luck!

I only lost stuff I wanted to redo anyways. That stuff was prototype code at best, and prototype code is at its best when it proves what it needed to prove and is thrown away.

My review of Hire With Your Head is coming along nicely, and prepping for it made a decent blog post wherein I think about the design of a good review. Expect that for the post on 03/16/15.
