I worked from home today, and it went super well. I got in 12 work pomodoros (my goal was 11). I could've easily put in more time, but I forced myself to stop. I got the thing I was working on working, and put out a WIP PR to get feedback. The thing I didn't like about my solution is something that got pointed out, so on Monday I will work towards fixing the code so that part isn't necessary.

Specifically, this part of the solution was already present in the previous code, but it isn't necessary if the jade (HTML) and stylus (CSS) are carefully rearranged, I think.

I'll work on this no longer than one more day before moving on to something else, I think.

Forearms extra sensitive today. Typing really irritating the left one. Think it was the climbing yesterday. Should wear off as I get back into the groove. Will be climbing tomorrow morning for sure.

I've decided that IGDA will be the focus of my personal project time until the new school year stuff is dealt with. After that, I'm scrapping my timer remake and canceling my plan to work in panel and instead will work in some variant of react. I'm doing this for two main reasons: 1) react is everywhere (thus learning it is valuable), and 2) I'm not really digging into the workings of panel enough to justify it as side-project framework, especially considering only people at Mixpanel are familiar with it, so I would have to explicitly poke work-people about personal project stuff and... well, I don't want to do that.

I like poking my mentor about stuff, but after talking with him about it, it seems smarter to work on personal project stuff in something else. He likes preact, so I think I'll do that.

But I won't remake my timer... I don't think.

I'll think about what I'll be doing, exactly.

Maybe I won't even abandon panel.... I don't know.
