Today was one of my friend's in Vancouver's birthday. He came over (I am staying at his parent's house) and we hung out a bit before he had a birthday breakfast (which was more lunch for him).

He invited me over to his place and we played a wicked sweet game call Spirit Island. It is basically Settlers of Catan in reverse. You play as spirits trying to remove the colonizers from the island. Any game where the white man is the bad guy is probably a good game.

After that, I helped do some yard work for the friend I was staying with. Pulled weeds out of soil for about 3 hours. It was mediatative and quite refreshing, actually. It makes me think I should add a hobby to my life that forces such a state of mind. Maybe I should explore learning violin sooner than I thought I would.

Went and got Mexican food for dinner with my sister in Portland at a restaurant called Los Gorditos. Got a vegan "garbage" burrito. It was quite tasty.

After that, I went and visited one of the Andrews and played Smash with him for an hour or so.
