Missing Day
Yesterday, I woke up at 0500 and basically went straight to work to fix a customer-facing issue. Had a doctor's appointment about lower-back pain and ended up coming home at a normal hour instead of the planned early hour (from going to work early).
Managed to do some music stuff with wife, but no side-project work.

Thinking
Did not sleep super well last night due to kitten. But I seem to be in a stable place. Just got to make sure to get to bed on time and wake up on time for a bit. Sleep can't stay unstable.
Dream
I had a lucid dream last night. Cat turned into big cat turned into dog. Weird apartment that doesn't exist. Dinner with neighbors that don't exist.
Let's try and structure this and thus probably change how the dream actually went. I think we were moving into an apartment. The cat was exploring and then I went looking for the cat. Noticed the cat was playing with another cat and I was like, "Oh, a neighbor's cat must have gotten in." As I tried to get a closer look at the cat, it transformed into a larger, non-domesticated breed of cat. Then, suddenly, it was a black dog with a brown belly.
I decided to try and find the dog's owner, and left the room, only to find myself at a dinner table eating with people I knew, but only existed within the dream. I mentioned the dog, but at this point I was getting a bit confused about what was going on.
I looked carefully at one of the people I was eating with, and I said aloud, "Oh, I'm dreaming." I continued to look at the person, a blonde woman. She didn't react in any way to my statement.
Then, suddenly, there was a searing bright light and things went abstract. There was this kinda background of a circuit board and a glowing light that pulsed with a narration. I can't remember the narration, which is a shame because when I woke up I tried very much to remember it, and the name that seemed to fit the voice of the narrator. But I didn't stay awake when I rehearsed the dream when I woke up, and it must have been lost in that bit of extra sleep.
I've been fighting a losing battle with my Twitter addiction lately. The whole primary election cycle has reset the habit. It's taking active willpower not to go to Twitter, and it's been hurting my spaced-repetition habit.
Trying to fight back today. No Twitter. And if I fail, the goal is to go right back to no Twitter. Try my best to keep the floodgates closed and not let a little trickle defeat me.
