Freelancing?
06/06/15
I regularly get these emails from a site called Truelancer, a freelancing site, saying to "Start Freelancing and Increase Your Earnings". Now, this is spam, I think, though I suppose it's possible that I signed up for mail from such a place. Just as likely they're spamming me through my GitHub account.
But in any case, freelancing, like home improvement, is something I want to try out at least, but just don't really know how to do. I have been given advice to look for local projects (yes, even when programming) on Craigslist.
In any case, I might give Neha a chance after doing some research on whether or not their site is worth my time. I really don't want to give business to spammers, but again it's possible I signed up a while back when I first thought about exploring freelance work, so I shouldn't punish them for something I may have asked for.
The idea of freelancing seems pretty good to me. Find interesting work I am capable of doing and get paid to do it. The reality probably isn't so simple or ideal, but that's why I should actually try it out.
