Projects Page Up

07/31/14

So, the distraction post got me inspired to work on my Projects page. I'm goign to go by the Getting Things done definition of a project and as "any planned thing that takes more than one physical action to complete". I plan to add to the projects page as they come to me. I'll probably also add some Github projects in there.

I'm still iterating on the best way to organize it all and such, but as it stands I'm pretty excited about projects list on my website. Everywhere else I tried to track projects just didn't feel right for some reason. I might also start putting "next actions" lists in general up on the webpage instead of stored away on the server.

We'll see.

I had posted previously on my organizational infrastructure. I spoke of another revamp to my system at the end of that post. That revamp is happening now with the use of this site. Interestingly enough, it involves relaxing the rigidity of my time-blocking methodology while improving how well I keep track of everything I want to do.

I might be going too lax on the time-blocking now, but I guess that's the PID-control in action. I'll find a happy medium, I'm sure. Right now, I think focusing on properly documenting everything I want to do will unlock a lot of productivity for me.

That's my goal for now.
