All-hands have demos and I want to use most of the demos.
The most relevant thing for me to use is the png download feature.
I may do the image first thing in the day. Or maybe it's better for weekly reviews. We'll see what I decide.

Justice Kennedy is retiring. The US is a garbage fire and my intention to leave grows everyday.
Though. on the positive end, Ocasio-Cortez.

A month ago, I was in Indiana with family. I was also on call. Did some solid hanging out with family, including my cousin Elizabeth, her husband, daughter, and son.
The beginning of me coding my own web timer began this day with me adding a pomodoro button to my old timer (the one I still use).
I have drawings from this day in my notebook that I should get around to digitizing. Drawings by me of the cousins once removed, and drawings by the girl of me and of her dad.
I have lots of drawings to digitize.

It was my birthday a week ago. To celebrate, the wife and I finished season 3 of Rick and Morty.
Thu Jun 28 04:18:35 UTC 2018
Yesterday, I had a productive work-from-home day. And I gave the history of my little card that reminds me to think of those who're gone. Everytime I come across it going forward, I'll try to tell a different story, I think.
Thu Jun 28 04:20:27 UTC 2018
Today....
Well, my pomodoros today after this one will be 3 total. That's my planning this morning, one at work, and this end of day review.
It wasn't going to be a productive day anyways, there's a work retreat tomorrow, and a code freeze today, and it was a distracting environment at work. Which is fine. Not everyday needs to be productive.
But.... Justice Kennedy is retiring. This is terrible. Every bit of government is going to have a "conservative" skew for a good while. Democrats should take the house in the midterms, but even that's not guaranteed. The senate is decently unlikely.
And Democrats overall continue to just be the "not outright evil" choice. So many in the party are trying to be Republican lite. Or rather, I guess, real conservative instead of what the word really means now (racist).
Emotionally, I regressed a bit at this news. I ended up going to twitter and reading various things there. Still no reddit. Reddit is gone. Twitter I no longer have an account, so it's limited there. No getting into pointless arguments. If I want to do something, I do something real or I do it here where my words will actually have a positive effect on someone (aka me).
I eventually talked about this news with my wife, and regained energy to cook and stuff. I ended up overeating, but again I have kept sugar out of the equation. I overate on homecooked, protein-rich, basically "healthy" food.
Thu Jun 28 04:28:24 UTC 2018
Today, after climbing, I weighed in at 209.8 pounds. I'm probably like 215 right now with the overeating, and the number isn't that important because it's water weight, but it feels good. I'm getting good feedback on my calorie counting. WIll continue it until I'm below 190, I think. 185 is a good goal.

Out of time. Some quick links to good stuff I've watched:
- It's Lit - When the Book is Better than the Movie
- It's Lit - The Evolution of YA: Young Adult Fiction Explained
Also, I am in the part of the 7 Habits where he talks about "Win-Win or No Deal". A good section, I think. The most powerful part being when even if you're on the win-lose side, if you know the other is losing, you agree to no deal because win-win is what we should strive for. That's some Prisoner's Dilemma stuff right there, but in a scenario not often talked about when talking about that dilemma (agree-to-disagree isn't a part of the dilemma, after all).
Thu Jun 28 04:33:55 UTC 2018
Anyways, I feel gross. So shower and then bed.
