Thinking

Morning's a little out of sync as I slept in for 20 minutes. Which is... disappointing. I remember waking up right before my watch alarm would go off, and deciding to continue the habit of getting out of bed as soon as it vibrates. But I don't remember it going off.... Meaning a case of turning it off in my sleep.

Unfortunate, was hoping to avoid this outcome. I guess if I wake up between 0400 and 0500 I should just wake up.

Yoga went well yesterday and I'm super sore today. I was also exhausted as I expected when I got home yesterday, so I'm not going to go to yoga today in the hopes of having energy to make tamales tonight. A lot of the prep work has been done, but there's still a lot of cooking to do.

I'll go to yoga again tomorrow, though. Maybe this time I'll climb before yoga to still get into work early, but that'll make the yoga extra difficult....

I have an alarm to take a nap around 1300. It went really well yesterday so I'll do it again today. Having my coffee right when I wake up is probably helping with the quality of the nap at 1300. And no more caffeine throughout the day probably helps with my sleep quality at night.

Things are falling into place. Maybe I'll do more thinking about where things are falling and where things still need to fall later. Right now I should be walking to work.

More Thinking

Ate a lot yesterday and not feeling the hunger this morning. Further, I drank coffee at home before coming in so I don't need to make coffee. Meaning: don't need to do my start of day routine.

Also, I had forgotten to block in an organization pomodoro. So that's what I'm doing instead. This bit of organization is really good for calibration and such. It puts me in the place I need to be to do the most impactful work. And then the rest of the day I can just focus on that work, which I'll start doing now.
