Last month, I started using aTimeLogger. I gave up on it after about a week. I wasn't using the data I was gathering at all, and it felt redundant when paired with my admittedly less precise timeblock setup. I think it makes more sense to eventually improve my timeblock setup.

Actually, it was 12 pomodoros yesterday. I failed to send the end of day pomodoro properly. Also failed to send this morning's pomodoro. Really need to fix my Mixpanel setup. Timer remake!

Okay, so I've been thinking about rushing to getting my timer remake to a place that's better than my current one.



I like playing with things.


I should work on being fast and playing intelligently. I can play the game, or I can practice speedrunning and get good at playing the game.

I guess....

Let's find a happy middle, and rush towards a prototype of how I'm thinking searching for YouTube videos should work in my app.

Work started out strong today but then I lost momentum. That loss of momentum followed me into home pomodoros, of which I did 2 of the planned 4. Non-counting this review, of course. I'm consistent on this at least.

Otherwise, though, work is going well and I'm confident that I'll get something cool out by the end of this week or early next week.

Struggled with a decision on my timer remake when I found a good compromise.

Hoping to have a quick-and-dirty exploration of youtube setup soon.

My brain has been obessivingly thinking about politics. Thinking that I'm not sure what to do with and I'm not sure how I should productively channel it. I believe that court-packing will be a necessary strategy when Democrats retake the senate and presidency. I believe that I should hold the democrats accountable for every little thing, but work towards them winning over the Republicans. I believe that it should be a serious goal of the DNC to practice fixing the political system via improving their own internal rules.

The Democratic party should be the only party, and it should split into its liberal and conservative sections.

But to go further with this thinking, I feel that educating myself on things is necessary. And I'm not in a place where that's a priority, so I'm going to try to let this go, and pretend that I'm good with just voting in primaries and voting Democrat.

Some of the above was last night. It recently occurred to me that I can look at my YouTube history to list what I've watched.

Going to Twitter still. Something to keep working on. Not reading the opinions of people I know I explicitly disagree with and know I'll want to argue with, at least. I'll try to remind myself why I don't want to go there.

Anyways, time to go wind down.
