Last year, I had a kinda post-mortem for the GMTK game jam. Wanted to start to do an hour of game stuff everyday. Not a bad plan, but I didn't have the systems in place to actually accomplish it.

Last month, I made a note of slight weight gain. It's fun to note that I'm getting close to 210. Should be below 210 by August.

Last week, I fought with myself a bit on what my timer goals are. Which boiled down to: learning how to do things "right" and being pretty slow or rushing to something functional and making it better later.
I think, at work, rushing to something functional is good, because I have outside pressure to fix what is bad. But with personal projects, without people to look at my work, I should in fact focus on what I think is the right way and work on doing work that way quickly. So I'm glad I made the decision I did a week ago.
I have done a good job of avoiding Twitter, lately.

Yesterday was my first full day in Seattle in a while. I have some recovery I need to do from shocks to my sleep because of travel. But productivity has been solid considering that. Usually a day like yesterday results in nothing, instead of pretty close to a normal day.

Going to take a while before YNAB stuff stabilizes into stuff to properly analyze. For now I'm still capturing all spending, so I'm doing what I should there. Looks like spending for the month is around $4k.
I think? I'm not sure how credit card spending stuff works, exactly. I'll figure it out.
Oh, wait, looking at the reports. I'll need to reorganize where my spending is to really see where money is going.
Something to consider doing next weekly review.

Nothing much to note about the week's posts.
Out of time. Next time I'll do more stuff.

Got a solid 7 pomodoros at work, though two of those were backlog and planning. I woke up late this morning, and so only processed tickler and headed straight to work. Definitely not a habit to build.
Ended up not doing IGDA Admin and working on personal project again. I have search "working", and now need to load the YouTube video. Which means it's time to understand panel better.
Really, it's time to understand it better to better understand how I should rearrange things and share state between DOM components.
Whilst walking home today... I passed a woman walking the other way. She had a stagger to her walk and a green wig poorly concealing her black hair. As I got closer, I realized that her flesh-colored pants were just a lack of pants. I got proper confirmation as she turned away from me towards a store and yelled hello loudly inside.
Strange experience.
