Stock market is on sale lately, so my increase in wealth was limited (gained less than I saved). That's fine by me, however, on two levels:

  1. I would like the slumping stock market to last until mid-terms to hurt the Republicans as much as possible.
  2. I'm just going to keep buying stocks thru this ordeal (they're on sale)

It's been almost a month since my last weekly review. There's been a lot of things causing me to not do my weekly review. But I'm always glad when I do it. Maintaining a conversation with my past helps calibrate my trajectory going forward.

Noting my percentage increase is pretty interesting, but it's more a 1.5 months comparison. Though, still, that's a pretty good increase. And I should expect it to be higher most months. Though as my savings amount climbs, how much I add to it via savings will decrease (as a percentage). Which is the whole point.

Remembering dreams has been really hard for me, lately. I have a vivid dream in my brain when I wake up and I just assume I'll remember it by the time I get to my computer. I go to bed with a notebook next to me explicitly to write down dreams as I wake up. I keep thinking that I'll remember the dream fine by the time I get to my computer, but that hasn't been the case lately so I think it's time to enforce the dream journal on waking up.

I just had a discussion on modes of thought with my room mates. I think I have a couple modes of thought that I switch between:

  • Intention
  • Narrative
  • Manipulating 2d Space
  • Fuzzy/probablistic
  • Dreamlike

Perhaps I'll ruminate more on these at a later date.
